Lightmain supplies Multi Use Games Areas (MUGAs), skate parks, playgrounds, shelters and street furniture through its Leisure Division. Together with the products supplied through its' Engineering & Construction Divisions Lightmain is able to offer a total solution, including bespoke if required.

We started life in steel fabrication making highly reliable and durable equipment to work in the hostile underground environment of the mining industry. With the collapse of that industry, Lightmain has, since 1991, used these skills to build product to satisfy a growing demand for street and leisure furniture. Since then, in response to customer demand and mainly through recommendation, Lightmain has expanded its’ range to encompass many of the requirements of Local Government and commercial organisations.

Leisure Division
At the heart of our business we provide a complete service for the design, manufacture and installation (including all ground works) of multi use games areas (MUGAs), skate parks, shelters, playgrounds, cycle storage, street and park furniture, That is, we provide a one stop solution where we not only design and make the product using British materials with a workforce based in South Yorkshire but we also carry out all of the ground works, installation, warranty and upgrade services.

Engineering Division
Our facility in South Yorkshire is one of the largest in the area and is both automated and conveyor driven to be extremely efficient enabling our Engineering Division to offer a comprehensive high quality powder coating service in a range of finishes on a sub-contract basis. We are a true top to toe shop, taking your design from the page through to the final anti-corrosion treated, powder-coated end product.

Construction Division
With the natural “marriage” of steel and concrete, we have become increasingly involved in the building sector and now offer architectural detailing products such as lintels, quoins, porticos, etc., in light weight concrete in any quantity either bespoke or on an off the shelf basis.

Our Workforce
All staff are directly employed by Lightmain and are highly skilled in their field of operation, either time proved or certified Craftsmen.
