TECHNICAL INFORMATION

1. Basketball Hoop – Our Lightmain Basketball Hoops are galvanised and heavy-duty and recommended by Basketball England.
2. Backboard – 12mm thick formica compact grade laminate. This is hardwearing, water resistant and impact resistant mounted to a heavy-duty galvanised and powder-coated steel frame to reduce noise and prevents damage.
3. Base Post/Ground Socket – 168.3mm diameter circular hollow section tube and a 5.0mm wall thickness set 750mm into the ground.
4. Rotating Post and Cross Arms – 114.3mm diameter circular hollow section with 5.0mm wall thickness.
5. Laser profiles – 6-8mm steel sheet, laser cut for accuracy and rigidity
6. Finishing – Hot Dip galvanised to EN ISO 1461 by an ISO 9001 certified galvaniser and
   powder coated to BS EN 13438:2013. Available in any standard RAL colour of your
   choice
7. Fixings – High-quality stainless steel security fixings covered with a durable vandal
   resistant plastic cover for safety and visual appeal throughout.
8. Fully complies with and regularly inspected to BS EN 1176
